WHAT IS HAPPENING?
ZINE NUMBER ONE IS OUT
Very exciting news! The first “official” edition of our zine is out now.
The fact of the matter is, we published two zines before this. The first one, called Zine Zero, was sort of a pilot zine. It was a recap of who we are and what we do, and its content was created solely by Doe Normaal. The second zine, Special Millennium Edition, was created to accompany our event at Radio Radio in August 2025. It was mostly for shits and giggles, with a Y2K aesthetic and content such as zodiac sign quizzes and fashion inspo.
Now, here is the official Zine #1. We reached out to some creative minds around us with a broad theme: Movement. Literal body movements, moving between countries, or objects around us that are being moved by external forces.
This collective effort resulted in a zine so rich and diverse in content that it even exceeded our own expectations. Hope you think the same! Order it now, and don’t forget to choose the free shipping option if you are located in Amsterdam :)

These all were the reasons for us to start the Doe Normaal Studio and now we want to invite you as well. We want to grow our community, as we believe in the contribution of and sharing between different voices.

They will be RSVP-based as we don’t have the biggest of the studio in Amsterdam. Maybe one day, if we grow this enough :).

A new batch of our Zine #0 is here, since the first batch is finished pretty quickly. Maybe it helped that it was free to grab. The good news is, this new batch is going to be also free and you can find them at our events or if you pay a visit to our studio in Sloterdijk.
It is full of comics, words, poetry, a playlist, and even a recipe. It’s tiny, so you can easily put it in your pocket.
